Services
- Our ABA/IBI programs are for children, youth & adults who need help learning & reaching goals.
- ABA Therapy
- SCYS’s OT will evaluate skills for playing, fine & gross motor, life & social skills, & daily activities.

What to expect with us
Comprehensive Assessment Assessments help determine an individual's developmental milestones and identify any areas where they may need support.
2. Individual Service Plan (ISP) An Individualized Service Plan (ISP) is a customized plan that outlines the specific services and support an individual requires based off information from our Assessment.
3. Ongoing Data Collection Show me the data! Through consistent data collection we will track an individuals progress & performance and make informed decisions on next steps to ensure their success in learning new skills & reducing challenging behaviours.
4. Collaboration & Parent Training We need you as much as you need us! Has been our motto since the beginning. We need to collaborate & work together with everyone who is involved in an individual’s care. Team Work makes the dream work!
5. Fun! Fun & more fun! We ensure our sessions are always engaging, fun & exciting so that they come back for more! We ensure an individual’s interests are a part of our programs because this program is geared toward them! We make it fun so we keep them engaged and motivated to learn!

We don’t only look at behaviour we look at all factors – health, nutrition, medication, environment & make a treatment plan based on these factors. Looking at behaviour alone is not the solution.

Our programs offer a holistic approach looking at the client as a whole & include nutrition into our treatment plan, this is important as many environmental factors affect our children.
We are lucky to have a talented staff of provincially-certified professionals, including Board Certified Analyst, Psychologists, Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, & ABA Therapists.

Dr. Angella Harjani Singh is a doctorate level behavior analyst who has been working with individuals with autism and other disabilities since the year 2002. She received her PhD in Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis from The Ohio State University. She also has taught several courses at The Ohio State University, including but not limited to: Introduction to Exceptional Children, Parent Professional Partnerships, Assessment of Behavior, and Single Subject Designs. She also worked at Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities, Columbus, Ohio as a special educator and liaison between the school and the university. She has served at several organizations in Ontario as the clinical supervisor for individuals with autism and other intellectual disabilities. She specializes in the assessment and treatment of challenging behaviors, using video prompting to teach various daily living skills, and functional communication training. Dr. Singh hails from Kathmandu, Nepal and began her career as an elementary and middle school teacher there.

Meet the SCYS Team!
Diana Scott is a Child and Youth Worker; Senior Clinician for 21 years who has been supporting children, youths and adults with various disorders ranging from mild to severe. Diana is provincially trained as a IBI Therapist. Her experience in working in group homes, treatment centers, school boards, transitional housing, day cares, hospitals and ABA/IBI services has expanded her creativity in providing behavioural techniques which bring about a high success rate. Further, her experience in working on IEP’s, behavioural management plans, parent & therapist training and treatment planning coupled with client family needs/goals has provided her with the in-depth knowledge required to provide well rounded treatment plans. Even more, Diana’s certified skills in Non violent Crisis Intervention, and Understanding & Managing Aggressive Behaviours (UMAB), allows her to provide various treatment based programs & safety where needed for the individual in an effective manner, reducing challenging behaviours. Diana’s understanding, commitment and passion in working with children, youths and adults was the foundation for her founding Scott Children & Youth Services Inc. – Stronger Together

Ellen Yeboah is Board Certified Behaviour Analyst that has spent a decade of her life supporting children, youth and adults with Autism and with other developmental disabilities. 8 of those years have been spent delivering Applied Behaviour Analytic services to children with Autism. Ellen completed a Behavior Science certificate with Humber College, and went on to complete Master’s Degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction: Applied Behaviour Analysis at Arizona State University. In addition to this, her work has extended across multiple school boards, community agencies, and regional providers. Ellen has had the opportunity to support and consult many professionals, educators, and parents throughout her various roles. Through these rewarding positions, she has been able to refine her experience in training professionals and families on Applied Behaviour Analytic principles and provide support that enhances home and learning environments for individuals with exceptionalities.
