Our History

SCYS is an agency providing Counseling, Family Outreach, ABA therapy, Social,
Life Skills, Employment, Communication programs, Behavioural
Programs, Assessments & other programs for children, youths & adults in Peel, Halton and the GTA. The programs will help to provide a positive foundation to local schools, communities & community programs and the families of our clients & the clients themselves; with support & a better understanding of how to work with children, youth & adults

Our programs offer a holistic approach looking at the client as a whole & include nutrition into our treatment plan, this is important as many environmental factors affect our children. We don’t only look at behaviour we look at all factors – health, nutrition, medication, environment & make a treatment plan based on these factors. Looking at behaviour alone is not the solution!

No two children are a like. The children, youths & adults who come to SCYS have unique situations requiring assessment and treatment.  The committed and experienced staff at SCYS provides therapeutic and educational services to help children, youths & adults, whether in the community, at home, to lead productive & enriched lives.
